Leaving the dealership and driving the car home showed a significant improvement in the ride and handling of the vehicle compared to my previous visit about a couple of months ago. So I appreciate the attention to detail the mechanic whom worked on my car performed. Additionally the wiper issue was resolved to my satisfaction. However I was disappointed how long it took to resolve the issue with the new wipers that were replaced in Dec. 2025 and soon after you could hear a screeching sound loud enough to be very annoying. It took about 3 or so return visits to finally replace what was obviously a defective wiper. The brake job concerned me only because I was in two months prior to replace the rear brakes with no mention of any issues with the front brakes and as I drove only about 2,000 miles the brakes became progressively worse as reported in my service visit. I know things can wear on a car but it’s a very low mileage vehicle that is hardly driven and when it is I’m the responsible driver. Never hard on the car. I know how important the GM survey I’ll receive is to your business and I don’t want to hold individuals responsible when your dealership up to this point has been outstanding in all ways not just with service. Service under the McDermott name was always top notch and I am glad to see it has continued under Crabtree. Dave Fagnani in service is the best advisor, always so helpful and keeps you informed every step of the way with the progress on your service and any recommended items. Also working in a doctors office I love that I can drop my car off for service on my way to the office in the morning and pick it up & pay at the sales reception desk after service has closed for the night. It makes servicing my car so easy! Keep up the good work and high standards and I'll always be back and recommend this dealership to anyone.

Shady business practices and wasting peoples time. Dealer made me wait around for over an hour to then pulled shady nonsense about trying to keep the balance after paying off my trade in. Shady dealers should get no business.

First time appt for a nail in my tire. I got there 2 hours earlier than my scheduled appt and Marc, as my advisor, was able to explain all my options and understand that I was coming in that morning after a long over night shift at work. Within 45 mins, he was able to get me in and out, have the team patch my tire, and able to bill my warranty at no cost to me. Definitely will make this my home dealer while in town and I hope to work with him more in the future for any needs!

PLEASE READ!! If you are a female, do NOT go there alone! I know this is a long review but before you go to Crabtree chevrolet please read this. Where do I begin...my first day at crabtree new haven was a complete disappointment. I felt trapped and undermined by the people in this place. Yes. I said trapped I literally had to sneak out to leave while the person i was working with went to find a car in some back lot somewhere for about 30 min or longer. I went by myself, which I am thinking was a big mistake. I initially got a call from them while I was in Florida and discussed my situation. My price range, what I was looking for, etc. I made an appt to come in. I was introduced to a guy named Luke. He seemed nice at first but that changed rather quickly. He showed a couple of brand new cars which I knew I couldn't afford but I went with it. I expressed that I could afford 400$ max 450$ a month. He came back with an 800$ a month car payment asking if that was OK. Then back again with something way out of my price range as well. He said he had a car on the lot that would fall into my price range which I was doubtful but after 6 hrs there I thought might had been a good opportunity to leave. I ran to my car and sped out of there. I received a call from the manager that night which I hesitantly answered. He said that I would not have to deal with Luke the following day but they wanted to help me and apologized for what I went through that day. Reluctantly I went the following morning. This time I had my son with me. I am not going to go through the entire day, but it was worse. They wanted to appraise my current car and took my keys saying they were going to drive it. Ok fine. I then realized a while later that they never gave them back. I asked for them twice after that and they did not give them back to me. They showed me a used equinox that was nice but wasnt what I wanted. They told me that I was going to be leaving in that car that day. They did not give me any chance to speak. They just walked away every time they would come over again with payments I couldn't afford. My son was very confused as to what was even happening. I still dont have my keys by the way. 4 o'clock I went up to the front desk where the finance guy sits and told them that I have to leave and asked for my keys again. At that point they started to ask me for money. They wanted me to make a 500$ deposit to hold that car. Then said I can take the car home for the night which I initially agreed to. After standing there for a min I thought wait a minute. This is definitely not right. While I was standing at that desk, I happened to look over and saw a basket with a bunch of keys which looked like people's car keys. They had all different key chains and house keys it looked like. I said. I will be taking my keys. I felt trapped and very uncomfortable. Almost like I couldn't leave for a moment as they were all surrounding me. My son was getting very impatient and started to get a little upset. They noticed that and I said that I will be taking my son and my keys and leaving. They asked for the 500$ once again. I said that I will not be giving them any money. Again I had to literally run out of there. Run to my car and take off. I have never felt so trapped and a little scared. I got multiple calls right after I left and texts saying that the car was ready for me to take it home as I just ignored them. I got a call the next day from the manager saying they had a meeting with the higher ups about the experience I had and they gave me an offer of a price outside of my price range again. I just couldn't believe It. I said I will not be doing business with a place who threatens their customers and demands money from them. Good luck crabtree! Ill be forwarding this review everywhere. People need to know who they are dealing with when they go there.

I have been looking for my dream car for over a year I had wanted a car with heated leather seats seats front & back a moonroof that opened wide and of course pearl white well Rafael castro my sales consultant found me the perfect fit i fell in love on our test drive Rafael was super helpful answering all of my questions and concerns my daughter and i bonded with him on our test drive he was so helpful and patient with me . His staff worked with him non stop to make this happen couldn’t be happier i love my beautiful car and did i tell you my car came with a lifetime warranty that was a pleasant surprise. We have had the best experience with Manny as our star sales associate. He has extensive knowledge and professionalism. We were also impressed with management and the finance department. This all around was a great purchasing experience! We plan on coming back for our next vehicle.
